Beginning with its 2005 award of a Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) grant from the Department of Education's Institute of Educational Sciences, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) has deployed new data systems to support improvements in teaching, learning, and student performance in the state.
ADE has asked Metis Associates, an independent research and evaluation firm, to help them learn how educators are actually using the data that are available in schools. To that end, we are requesting that all teachers, school administrators, district administrators and co-op staff complete a survey to learn about your experiences with data systems that are currently deployed, and how you use such data.
Every person who completes the survey will be entered into a drawing for an iPad. Two iPads will be awarded.
The survey can be found by following this link:

Please complete the survey as fully and candidly as possible by April 12, 2013. Your individual responses will be anonymous. We thank you in advance for your patience and the time you spend in completing this survey.
If you have any questions or concerns about this survey please contact Lori Ramsey at 1-877-638-4769 or lramsey@metisassoc.com
