Release of LEA Management System (LEAMS) and Contact Person Address Book (CPAB) Tools

The purpose of this announcement is to
release of two major tools – LEA Management System (LEAMS) and Contact Person Address Book (CPAB) on the ADE Data Center website by the Research & Technology division. The LEAMS is updated automatically once the school data is updated in APSCN and the CPAB is automatically updated off each Statewide Information System (SIS) cycle submission.  Both tools are based off data feeds from the district-certified data available in the ADE’s State Data Warehouse. Statewide Information System (SIS) Reports - Updated

Statewide Information System (SIS) Reports

The Research & Technology Division has updated the Statewide Information System (SIS) Reports on the ADE Data Center website. The number of publicly-accessible reports has more than doubled, now totaling close to 1500 reports, ranging from school year, 2004-2005 to school year, 2012-2013. Data Reports are available for a variety of subject areas at the State (SEA), County, District (LEA) and School levels. The reports are generated from the district-certified data available in the ADE’s State Data Warehouse.

The site was designed with uniformity at all levels (State, County, District, and School). A dynamic ‘search capability’ was incorporated into site to make it user friendly. Below are some of the new features implemented on the site:

  • New reports based on different subject areas were added to the Report Categories.
  • New main page navigation: The purpose of this was to give users flexibility in navigating and searching reports throughout the website. There are three ways to navigate the reports:
  1. Side-Bar Navigation: The traditional way to navigate the reports. On the left-side of the page, users can click on the menu, select the category, and then select a report to view.
  2. Category Navigation: This allows a user to select a category to open. When a category is selected, the menu on the left-side will open, which will have an opening animation to focus attention and then enable the user to select a report to view. This is more of visual-type navigation instead of going through the menu bar.
  3. Search Navigation: This allows a user to search a report without going through the navigation menu. The user can select a category to filter, and then search for a report. As an example, if the user selects “All” as the Category, then types “Enrollment” in Search, and then clicks the Search button, all reports containing the word Enrollment will be displayed. Select one of the reports, then it will redirect you to that report.
  • How to use this page: This is a tutorial section to demonstrate how to navigate the site.
