Cycle - The reporting cycle for which the data is submitted:

LEA, District/Coop -Local Education Agency, the unique seven-digit number assigned by the ADE to identify individual county, district, and cooperative. The first two digits represent the county, the second two digits represent the district, and the last three digits represent the individual school, for example:

SSN, Staff - The nine-digit Social Security number of the staff member being identified.

State Reporting ID, Staff - The unique 10-digit Triand identifier generated for the teacher by the state

Employee ID Number - The unique 9-digit numeric employee identifier: may or may not be same as social security number without the dashes

Salary Schedule Code - Corresponds to a specific salary code defined in the salary schedule record.

Class Title - Description of the employees position

Contract Days - Number of working days in the contract

Days Worked - Number of days the employee works in a year

Employee Salary Fund (Budget Unit Information) - The fund code from which the salary is being paid.

0 = Other
1 = Teacher Salary
2 = Operating
3 = Building
6 = Federal
7 = Activity
8 = Food Service

Source of Funds (Budget Unit Information) - A three-digit number that is the second, third and fourth digits in the 16 digit budget unit that is assigned to restricted revenues to enable the revenues and expenditures to be accounted for by the specific revenue source.

Function - A four-digit number that is the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth digits in the 16-digit budget unit that describes an activity being performed when a service is provided or goods are received

Object - A five-digit account code that is used to describe the service or commodity received as a result of the expenditure.

Location - A three-digit number that is the ninth, tenth and eleventh digits in the 16-digit budget unit that describes the building receiving the benefit of the transaction and is determined by the last three digits of the building LEA number.

Program Code - A program is a plan of activities and procedures designed to accomplish a predetermined objective or set of objectives. Nine broad program areas are identified in the Financial Handbook: regular education, special education, vocational education, other instructional (PK-12), non-public school, adultcontinuing education, communityjunior college education, community services and enterprise. The program dimension allows agencies to charge program costs, instructional and support, directly to the benefiting program. For example, special education transportation costs are classified to the support services function, transportation, even though they should be charged directly to the special education program.

Subject - Subject is the 15th and 16th positions of the 16 digit budget unit.

Job Rate Flag - There are two rate flags; P (primary rate) or S (secondary rate)

P = Primary Rate
S = Secondary Rate

Employee Rate - Unique rate number corresponding to the employee; a given employee can have up to 20 rates.

Job Class Code - A description of the positiontitle a person holds within the district, Example: "Superintendent."

Percentage - Percentage of the pay amount distributed.

Range - Corresponds to a specific range defined in the salary schedule.

Step - Salary schedule step for the employee rate.

Base Salary - Salary for range and step.

Annual Salary - Total contracted salary.
